Weekly Wellbeing Mission
I hope you and your families are all staying safe and well (and keeping your sanity!)
I would like to set up a weekly wellbeing mission for our students with SEND. I will email out a short task to do each week and would love for the students to get involved in undertaking it and you, as parents/carers, to photograph this and document their journey. All photos and responses will be emailed directly to this email address SEND@sheffieldsprings.org with your child’s name in the subject box. I will collate this information so that they will have their own personalised journal of this time and to give them the opportunity to look back at all the positive steps they have been taking and the resilience they have been building during this crisis.
The tasks will be short and sweet, so it isn’t another thing to add to your “to do list” and it will hopefully bring some smiles along the way too. If you are interested please reply with “opt in” to SEND@sheffieldsprings.org with your child’s name and year group. Depending on the task you can choose whether to take part or not so there is no pressure to complete every task. In addition, I am hearing some real successes when I speak to parents, so if you document any small or big wins along the way, please also email these to me so I can add to their journey E.g their homeworking routine, a trip out of the house, making a cup of tea/dinner for someone in the family. For our students with SEND, we can never underestimate how much effort it has taken them (and you) to achieve these things.
I really hope you can get involved in this, it will be a lovely memento to look back on.
Stay well and well!
Kind Regards
Grace Benson
