Whilst Academic success is very important, here at Sheffield Springs Academy, we believe that there is more to a good education. As well as ensuring our students succeed in exams, we also aim to develop character, compassion and service. Throughout their time with us, we expect our students to contribute to the school community and the wider community and actively encourage them to try things they cannot do, persist in the face of difficulty and become resilient in overcoming challenges.
In direct support of this, we provide a breadth of opportunities and experiences, helping our students become confident, well-rounded and ambitious young adults. Our curriculum and enrichment programme is packed with opportunities to try something new and develop new skills and in addition to our wide range of extracurricular clubs, our students also enjoy trips both locally, nationally and internationally. We also regularly organise university visits, talks from inspirational speakers from the worlds of medicine, law, sport and business, as well as providing countless opportunities for our students to collaborate with their peers at United Learning Schools across the country.
